Pros and cons of DreamWorks Press: Dragons app for iPhone and iPad

DreamWorks Press: Dragons app good for

This app is amazing! It feels like your actually live the life of a Viking! It great but Ive been though all of book one when is book 2 coming? I cant wait please make book 2 soon!!!!!!!!!!
Great !!! And I finish the all book one and I wait for the book 2 because its so great!
Then I recommened playing Rise of Berk. I guarentee that youll fall in love with it like I did. I just bought this one and I am excited to play it
When will Book 2 be released? I really want to continue reading these stories - I love HTTYD. ( ^ω^ ) Also, it seems that there are some technical issues with the app too. Some backgrounds dont show up during the training arena segment and when traveling into the hanger, all you see are the doors and everything else is black. Nothing shows until were inside the hanger and have to brighten up the room. Is there any other way to contact you other than writing a review? Like on Facebook?
Since I love the Httyd franchise, I had to get this app. Though I am adolescent, I still find it well written, and with an intriguing storyline. However, the app itself hasnt been updated in two years, and theres still the promise of a new book to come out. I really hope its not planned to come out with the release of the third movie, which is set to be two to three years from now. I cant wait that long. Even if the second book is not ready, perhaps more games could be added, or more things to do with Toothless, like being able to fly him over a small 3D landscape (similar to the second movie videogame).

Some bad moments

My 5 year old was so excited about this app after seeing an advert for it in the back of a book from the library. He made it as far as the academy before the story got stuck in a loop and kept going back a few pages. He finally got through that glitch, only to make it to hangar where the narration and sound both stopped working. Very disappointing for a $3 app, I expect this kind of quality from a free app from a 3rd party developer, not from dream works.
An entertaining Dragons side-story, told in the form of a beautifully illustrated, animated storybook. The multiple reading levels are well used, making this story truly engaging for readers of all ages; even older Dragons fans will enjoy it, though I suspect the greatest enjoyment would be sharing the book with a younger sibling or child. More than just an ebook, this feels like the beginning of something great from DreamWorks Press. Looking forward to see the story develop over subsequent chapters. Note: It might not be immediately evident, but the narration can be turned off in the settings menu, to encourage independent reading.
My 4 year old loves this app, and Im thankful this app allows me to age it down so he can play with it...
I absolutely love this app!!! I cannot wait for the second book to come out!! I highly recommend this app to readers of all ages! Its interactive and the story line is great! I also like how you can set the age of the reader to make the story geared more towards younger or older children/adults. Im 15 and I absolutely love this app! I cannot wait to share it with my younger cousins!! Again, a highly recommended app, I cannot wait for the story to continue!
This game is perfect! Ive been looking for a game like this for years, and I found it! The 3D is fabulous, and the tell your own story is unbelievable! Im vary happy, and cant saint for the other chapters. SO HURRY UP. Worth the money, and the wait!
Bought this app for my kids as they are HUGE dragons fans and they love it! My 2 y.o. has been listening to it at the beginning level (called “Hatchling” - so cute!) and my 5 y.o. reads it at the middle level. After they went to sleep I tried it at the oldest level and was even more blown away! There’s even some kind of mystery that runs through all of the chapters. And my kids are crazy about the parts where you hatch your dragon egg and play fetch with Toothless. PRO TIP: On the menu map screen if you swipe to the side you reveal a hidden area that talks about the next book in this series. Can’t wait!
